With so many changes taking place in the Bega Valley area at present Bermagui Chamber must remain vigilant and present a united voice to government at all levels on behalf of our businesses.

For a small sum in membership each year the Chamber will
• Through our Bega Valley Shire Business Forum membership provide an avenue for free legal and contractual employment advice on issues impacting on your ability to run your business
• Ensure that the Bermagui voice is loud and strong when putting a case for improvements to the town.
• Continue to support information dissemination to all members from a variety of outside organizations
• Defend your right to operate your business.
• Assist new business operators wherever possible
• Encourage new businesses to relocate to the area
• Lobby governments at all levels when necessary to improve outcomes for our members.
You will note that with contractual arrangements in place, Sapphire Coast Tourism, in partnership with BACCT will coordinate the day to day business operation of the Bermagui Visitor Information Centre. Whilst BACCT will continue to coordinate and roster the voluntary workers, our focus will remain on our Constitution's Aims and Objectives:
• To work towards making and keeping Bermagui and area a prosperous and progressive region.
• To protect and promote the interests of local business through a united voice.
• To assist and encourage members to achieve the highest possible standards.
• To promote Bermagui and area as a preferred holiday destination
• To establish lines of communication with and to work in close co-operation with all tiers of Government to achieve the result that Bermagui and area has the reputation of a solid community
• To provide a forum between members for discussion and social contact with other members of the community.
